Quick & Easy Baby Slippers

This pattern is so quick and easy and they are adorable. I used Twilight Double Knitting yarn and size 4mm hook (uk) size. To make a larger size i started off with a chain as long as the foot that i am making them for (add 2 chain to that amount for first hdc) and adjusted how many rows width ways aswell.

Chain 12
Row 1
Hdc in 3rd chain from hook and in each stitch to the end.
Row 2 - 10 Chain 2 turn, hdc in each stitch to the end.
fasten off leaving a long tail end.

Finishing.

You will have a rectangular piece, gather the toe by weaving the yarn in and out along the top of the width of your work. Fold the piece in half lengthwise and pull the yarn tight so the toe is gathered. Stitch along for about half an inch to the other end of the slipper. Fasten off.

Stitch up the heel and fasten off.

The Flower

Chain 3 and join to form a ring with a sl st.
Chain 3, dc into the centre of the ring then sl st into the centre of the ring, repeat 4 more times. You should have 5 petals.
sl st to beginning 3 chain, fasten off leaving enough yarn to sew to slipper...
